Music is love, music is life

Hey guys!

So after a few days I decided to write another post. This time about something that I've been loving since I was a little child and that's music. And don't think there's a day I go through without listening to music at least for a while. In this article I'd like to show you my favourite music genres and musicians. Maybe you'll find someone that you like as well here or maybe you'll find someone that you don't know yet although I think almost all these musicians are pretty famous.

HOUSE MUSIC

First genre that I love with all my heart is house music. I've been listening to this genre only for like 4 years but that's the genre that I listen to all the time these days. Mostly I listen to EDM, trance and DnB but I like basically any type of house music. Now something about my favourite DJs.

The number one for me is Martin Garrix. His name has become pretty famous these days because he made some popular radio tracks. If you don't know him, he's a 22 year old DJ from the Netherlands and admire him for his hard work and love for what he's doing and for the fans. I've been following him since I started to listen to house music 4 years ago, I've also met him and saw his show live and he's just unbelievable. I'll rather avoid writing about him more because then there would be no space for the other musicians. :D My favourite tracks are all of his tracks obviously but if I have to choose it's Spotless, The Only Way Is Up and Virus.

Then I really love The Glitch Mob. They are DJ trio from the USA and they're not that famous because they don't play commercial stuff. They're more underground and also it's harder style of house music but I really love their sounds. If you're into house music and also the harder types you should definitely listen to their stuff. I love tracks Skytoucher, Our Demons, Mind of the Beast or for example We Can Make The World Stop.

There are few more DJs that I really love listening to and would like to mention here. Jay Hardway and his tracks Stardust, Wired and Somnia. Julian Jordan and his tracks Rebound, Saint and Night Of The Crowd. Brooks and his tracks Like I Do, Boomerang and Byte (all with Garrix :D). Nicky Romero and his track Novell and his amazing DJing skills, his live sets are insane. Don Diablo, I love almost every his track. Skrillex and many more. These are just a few of house music DJs and producers whose music I really enjoy.

POP MUSIC

Of course as almost everyone I also listen to popular music. Not that often as house music but still I'd like to mention some of my favourite singers and musicians.

First of all there is Selena Gomez. I've been loving this girl since I was a little child and I saw her on Disney Channel. I know every her song and although I've moved with my music preferences into other directions the last years I still enjoy her music. More than for her music she's known for her life these days which is bad and many people don't like her because of what they read about her. I'm only writing about her as a singer here, not about anything else. Although I support her in her life as well. I can't choose my favourite song by her, every song is special for me.

There are many artists in popular music that I like to listen from time to time. Mostly the famous ones like Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, Ellie Goulding or Michael Jackson. But that's why popular music is called popular, there's not really possible to choose from the amount of musicians that exists right now and I like something from many many popular artist.

ROCK MUSIC

From the rock music I particularly like grunge and Nirvana. I fell in love with this band maybe two years ago, I don't really remember anymore. But then I started to listen to their live concerts and albums and also watch documentaries about Kurt Cobain. I also like many songs that are not that famous by them. I hate when people say they love Nirvana and know only Smells Like Teen Spirit. And that's not only with Nirvana but also with every other artist. Anyway, this band is definitely still living after all these years of not existing anymore.

RnB

In this genre I have to mention The Weeknd. For a long time I only knew the song Starboy by him but then I started to listen to him more and more. I have to say that his new album My Dear Melancholy is a masterpiece, especially Hurt You, Try Me and Wasted Times I enjoy a lot. He's also amazing while performing live, a real artist indeed.

90s and back

Last but not least is the old music. From the 90s I enjoy Oasis, Backstreet Boys, NSYNC or Lenny Kravitz. From 80s Queen, David Bowie, Guns n' Roses, or for example Phil Collins. Or when I go completely back in time to 50s, I love Chuck Berry, Elvis Presley or Jerry Lee Lewis.

I hope that you found here someone that you also like or even better that you found someone interesting that you'll listen to thanks to this article. As you see, I enjoy pretty much every type of music in the end. I even like some things from Hip-Hop but there're not that many that I like from this genre. Feel free to let me know what musicians or songs you like so I can be inspired and find someone new to me as well. :)
